Funny Ebay Feedbacks

There is literally no site in the world that is safe from crazy people. By coincidence I just found a guy who leaves a funny Ebay feedback all over the place. Not sure what rides him, but definitely funny. Here a few:

Are you seriously this excited about an Ipod? You need a woman!

Please write more nice stuff about me next time. It makes me feel good.

You should tell Ebay I’m great so they’ll stop threatening to kill my account.

I bought this video only to hear that hot Beach Boys song on the end.
More from this guy here.

Swap out your surveillance cameras with WiSpi EX30

If you ever thought about getting a few surveillance cameras up, but never installed it, b/c it’s a huge pain, maybe the following is the solution for you.  Now you’ve got a solution with WIspi EX 30. WiSpi is a security camera that transmit pics to a handheld screen or has a built-in DVR and night vision.

Check the video to see how it could work:

Certainly an interesting idea. I always wondered why the old-school baby monitors are just not transmitting to a cell or the Inet. Especially since everybody has wireless in their house nowadays.

Top 8 Largest Mobile Networks

The Washington Times just announced the largest Mobile Ad networks. And results are surprising to me. I thought that Admob is by far bigger than any of the other one’s:

2. Yahoo - 36.1 million uniques
3. Google - 31.9 million  uniques
4. AOL/Platfrom A -28.6 million uniques
5. Admob 25.7 million uniques
6. MSN Adnotwork -25.4 million uniques
7. Jumptap 23.4 million uniques
8. Quattro Wireless: 23 million uniques

Microsoft retail stores

Launching a branded store is kind of a no-brainer today. All the big brands do it and I am a big fan of it. Brand Marketing & Reputation management are just the way to go these days. Especially when you are in the tech space (just ask Google).

Today I saw that Microsoft finally made the move to launch their own stores and promote their products, among others the Zune.  They also announced that these stores will sometimes open in close proximity to Apple’s store. Let’s say it friendly: This can go very ugly, especially when you think about the deep pockets that Microsoft has.

The next black Friday we might see the Iphone vs. Zune Phone war….or the Mac vs. PC fight right on the street.
Overall a smart move by Microsoft. Since Circuit City folded and a bunch of online retailers own the laptop business, Microsoft
needs to diversify their sales channels. Really funny to see the M$ giant get back on it’s feet.

But let’s see how this will turn out. Windows 7 better be good…or MS will get owned again.

Dropping $17.5k on a Nintendo game

This is quite offtopic, but I am stunned about the geekness of today’s world. In the old days, humans collected stamps and just looking at the Blue Mauritius stamp in a collectors catalog was just the highlight of day.

Today I saw that a collector dropped almost $20k on a good old Nintendo game. Pretty sick!

Mynameise Iphone Business Card Killer? I doubt it

I just read that the MynameisE.com developed a great tool to share Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter information with others, while on the go. Pretty interesting idea and some people already called it a “business card printer” killer.

The Iphone app allows card sharing through a simple flick of the writs.  It cann connect to users automatically and let the allows the exchange of the information.

Certainly an interesting concept to exchange information with a phone. However, question remains: How many people really will use the app on their Iphone and how many phones besides the Iphone do they support with their system.
So…for all the fast shooters…I would not call business cards bsolete until Linkedin/Facebook/Twitter….include a functionality like this in their offical app.
